Get Out There is a Canadian magazine with a focus on endurance sports, outdoor recreation and adventure. I have been art director for Get Out There since 2010, at which time a full redesign was completed including a new wordmark. The wordmark was not overly styled so that it would remain relevant for years to come. This simplicity also allows it to function in a variety of media. Likewise, the design of the interior is kept simple but bold, with carefully considered typography.
